FMAP Extension Receives Final Congressional Passage!!!

Bill Now Goes to the President for His Signature

This afternoon the U.S. House of Representatives passed the FMAP Extension and Jobs Bill.  H.R. 1586 provides $16.1 billion in additional federal Medicaid funding to states over six months, with the goal of preventing deep cuts to human services in the year ahead. The bill now goes to President Obama for his signature.

Thank you to all who advocated for the passage of the FMAP extension!  At a time when it was most necessary, you and your colleagues banded together to let your elected officials know how vital these funds are for the individuals we support.  Thank you for your advocacy, and thank you for your dedication and commitment to those we support
