About Us
REM Iowa Developmental Services, in Hiawatha, is a CARF accredited vocational center specializing in structured facility-based training and contracting, and community supported employment. It is split into two distinct services, facilitating their ability to individualize the environment to meet the individuality of the persons served. The more ICF-based service targets individuals who may want more focus on social strategies, fundamentals of teamwork, and basic development of primary, job-appropriate motor skills. The primarily HCBS service is structured for individuals who want more assistance building confidence and skills for community work.
