REM Kalona is an eight-bed Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) for adults with Mental Retardation. While not exclusive, REM Kalona specializes in services for aging and medically fragile individuals. The Kolona community is quiet and secluded, but fascinating for its proximity to an Amish community, rich with history and culture.
